WE WORK SUSTAINABLY

In a world increasingly shaped by environmental challenges, sustainability is becoming ever more important.

As part of the AUNDE Group, ISRINGHAUSEN is committed to embedding sustainability as a core principle across all areas of our business operations. We take responsibility for climate protection and design our processes along the entire value chain—from material selection to production—to be environmentally friendly and resource-efficient.

Our goal is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2039. Through innovative technologies and processes, we are reducing our energy consumption and conserving valuable resources. This includes the use of recyclable materials and the optimization of product life cycles.

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that they also adhere to sustainable practices. In doing so, ISRINGHAUSEN actively contributes to responsible and future-oriented mobility—in line with the goals of the AUNDE Group.

Sustainability and quality are inherently interconnected. We continuously strive to enhance our processes and products. Our aim is to provide our customers with optimal results. Simultaneously, we minimize environmental impacts and act with social responsibility.

Sustainability Report

The AUNDE Group's sustainability report currently covers the reporting period from 2020 to 2023 and is closely aligned with the ‘ZNU Standard for Sustainable Management’, which was developed by the Centre for Sustainable Corporate Management at Witten/Herdecke University. The AUNDE Group's management system has been certified to this standard by TÜV Rheinland since 2023. Four other companies in the Group will follow suit by the end of 2024. Continuous expansion of the certification of further locations is planned for the following years.

The ZNU standard supports the ESG criteria (Environment - Social - Governance) and the United Nations' Global Sustainable Development Goals. It also paves the way for CSRD reporting in the EU (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). As a set of rules for sustainability in the company, the ZNU standard supplements the classic management system standards in the company. It sets out requirements for the environmental, economic and social dimensions and thus promotes a systematic improvement in sustainability.

The AUNDE Group's sustainability report covers four main areas: Sustainable Leadership, Environment, Economy and Social. The areas and topics are closely linked to the ZNU standard in order to achieve better orientation and conformity with the individual aspects.
